Cambridge
cambridge.jpgSet on the River Cam with its famous colleges, renown Fitzwilliam Museum, Kings College Chapel, botanical gardens, unique shops and market. Punting along the river Cam - chauffeured or self hire.  Grantchester Meadows to which you can walk or cycle to from Cambridge City; then sit and relax with afternoon tea in the orchard gardens. Fine food to suit all tastes is available, from Continental - French, Italian, Greek or Turkish to Indian and Asian, whilst the more traditional food and refreshment is served in the many pubs and bars.

The Imperial War Museum at Duxford with its unique collection of aircraft and home to spectacular air shows is a 15 minutes drive away.

Chilford Hall and Vineyard offers a wide range of activities, both corporate and private is a 5 minute drive.

Haverhill Commercial Areas, Granta Park Business Centre and the Welding Institute are all within a 7 mile radius.

Linton Zoo - just a 5 minute drive, is renown for its successful breeding programme of endangered species.

The valley of the River Stour, Constable Country is nearby. There are many charming historic, picturesque villages along this valley, including:  

Clare with its ancient priory ruins and riverside walks.

Cavendish, famous picturesque village green and pubs.

Long Melford with many interesting antique shops, good pubs, Stately Home and Kentwell Hall.

Lavenham  A historic timber framed village with its famed 15th Century Guild Hall.

Dedham and Flatford Mill, famous for its associations with John Constable.

Sudbury, old market town, nice riverside meadows and walks, summertime boat trips and home to the famous artist Gainsborough.

There are the old picturesque villages of North Essex but a short drive away. Saffron Walden - Tuesday and Saturday Markets, Thaxted, having a famed Guild Hall and Finchingfield, which has an idyllic village green with attractive duck pond, pubs and tea rooms.

Newmarket, including The National Stud and Racing Museum – not forgetting the regular racing – all a 20 minute drive away.

Stansted Airport is just a 20 minute drive down the M11.
